Zusammenfassung: | The present disclosure in particular provides for a method for unlocking a hybrid cylinder (10) comprising:
inserting a key (70) into a keyway (40) of the cylinder (10);
rotating, with the key (70), a plurality of discs (12) such that a locking bar receiving region (52) of each disc (12) is aligned with one another;
sliding, with the key (70), a lock extension (30, 32) of at least one wafer (16, 16b) out of engagement with a spindle (20);
rotating, with the key (70), a plurality of discs (12) and at least one wafer housing (14) relative to the spindle (20) until a locking bar (22) is aligned with and moves into a locking bar receiving region (39, 52) formed in each wafer housing (14) and each disc (12);
rotating, with the key (70), the spindle (20), the discs (12) and the at last one wafer housing (14) after the locking bar (22) is moved to a shear plane between the spindle (20) and the discs (12) and the at least one wafer housing (14); and
rotating, with the key (70), the coupled spindle (20), discs (12), and each wafer housing (14) to unlock the hybrid cylinder (10) from a support structure. |
