Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a cooling apparatus for use in a switching station. It comprises a bearing (3), by means of which a carrier body (4) is mounted in a rotatable manner, and it is formed with a device which is arranged on the carrier body (4) and intended for generating a first magnetic field (10). The carrier body carries a fan element (9) in addition. A second magnetic field (23) is generated by an energized conductor (2) or an element (23) which is mounted in a stationary manner in relation to the bearing (3). The cooling apparatus here is configured such that movement of the carrier body (4) with the at least one fan element (9) is generated by the interaction between the second magnetic field (19) and the first magnetic field (10).
