Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a running gear of a rail vehicle for high speed transport, having a running gear frame (1) on which at least one set of monobloc wheels (3) is mounted and a brake device for braking the running gear (1), wherein the brake device is designed as a block brake (5) which interacts with at least one monobloc wheel (3), and adjacent to the monobloc wheel (3) a contactlessly operating temperature measuring device is provided which monitors a temperature of the monobloc wheel (3) in a wheel region which is representative of an energy input by the block brake (5) into the monobloc wheel (3).
