Zusammenfassung:	A pedestrian collision detection device (1) is mounted on a front bumper (11) of a vehicle (C), and is provided with a sensor member (20) (a tube (21), a buffer member (22), a pressure sensor (23)) that detects shock which is received by the vehicle (C) when the vehicle (C) collides with a pedestrian, and a support member (24) that supports the sensor member (20) on a vehicle body side of the vehicle (C). The front bumper (11) includes a bumper beam (12) arranged between a pair of side members (5). The tube (21) covered with the buffer member (22) is arranged at the front portion of the support member (24) (a bumper reinforcement (13), an extension portion (26), a stay (29)) such that a lower portion (22a) of the buffer member (22) is positioned above an upper portion (12a) of the bumper beam (12) and a front portion (22b) of the buffer member (22) is positioned behind a front portion (12b) of the bumper beam (12).
