Zusammenfassung:	A crash-ready, portable, item compartmentalization device for use in an emergency vehicle includes a shell which includes a first half shell and a second half shell. The first half shell and the second half shell are hingedly coupled along a common side such that they may be positioned in an open position or in a closed position defining an interior space. The shell also includes a coupling device disposed within the interior space which comprises a latch mechanism. At least one pouch, including a container, a flap and a catch cooperative with the latch mechanism, is removably coupled to the coupling device. At least one mount location is coupled to the exterior wall of the shell and is configured to secure the shell to a surface wall of the emergency vehicle.
