Zusammenfassung:	A clamping apparatus 62 for positioning a main bearing 54 of a wind turbine 10 includes a push component 64 arranged between a main flange 35 of a main shaft of the wind turbine and a cover 60 of the main bearing 54. Further, the clamping apparatus 62 includes a spacer plate 66 located within a gap 68 between the cover 60 and the main bearing 54. As such, the push component 64 is configured to apply a force to the cover 60 so as to push the spacer plate 66 against the main bearing 54 such that the main bearing 54 is pushed into and secured in place.
