The guide assembly includes a first elongated guide (500) for connecting to the header(102) and a second elongated guide (600A) for connecting to the header (102). The first elongated guide (500) has a slot defined by three inner surfaces for receiving a first complementary shaped draper belt portion of the later draper belt. The second elongated guide (600A) has a slot defined by seven inner surfaces for receiving a second complementary shaped draper belt portion of the lateral draper belt.
