Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an opening device for a tilt and turn leaf of windows or doors. The opening device is equipped with an adjusting linkage, which can be moved along a leaf rebate into different switch positions by means of a drive, and at least one opening arm (19), which is arranged on the leaf opening side opposite the perpendicular pivot axis, which is pivotally mounted on the leaf, and which can be coupled to a frame-side slide guide (1) that runs along a frame rebate plane (RF) via a coupling element (18). The aim of the invention is to provide an opening device which allows a simpler, fault-tolerant operation. This is achieved in that the slide guide (1) which is open along the frame rebate plane (RF) has a guide web (4) which is positioned in the opening direction of the leaf and which can be moved along the frame rebate plane (RF).
