The gripper 102 according to the invention comprises a fixation part 110 for holding at least one teat cup 6, and transport means for positioning the teat cup in the gripper relative to the at least one fixation part. The fixation part 110 is provided with a conveyor belt 114. Belt 114 is provided with a magnet 116.
