Zusammenfassung:	A straddled vehicle in which variation in purification performance of purifying exhaust gas can be restrained is provided. An engine unit mounted on a straddled vehicle 1 includes: an engine main body 20 including a combustion chamber 36; an exhaust passage member 43 allowing exhaust gas to flow from the combustion chamber 36 to a discharge port 42e; an upstream catalyst 46 which is the most upstream catalyst in the exhaust passage member 43 in the flow direction of the exhaust gas; an oxygen detector 92f; and a phosphorus adhesion reduction portion 44. The phosphorus adhesion reduction portion 44 and the oxygen detector 92f are provided in the exhaust passage member 43, between the combustion chamber 36 and the upstream catalyst. A catalyst layer 49 of the upstream catalyst 46 includes a noble metal and purifies the exhaust gas. The phosphorus adhesion reduction portion 44 includes at least one of a phosphorus capturing layer 44a or a phosphorus capturing structure 44b and restrains adherence of phosphorus to the catalyst layer 49.
