Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a revolving tube magazine which comprises a plurality of tool holders lying on a plane and in the interior of which a working spindle is mounted in a dimensionally-stable central block that is fixed in place on the machine tool side. The central block has a magazine tube body for receiving the tool holders. The magazine tube body is mounted by an anti-friction bearing and/or is slidingly mounted on the central block and rotatably driven around said block. The magazine tube body has one holder cover per tool holder position, for storing a tool holder. The holder cover can be positioned with the tool holder required for machining the workpiece, on the central block in front of the front end face of the working spindle around the circumference of the magazine tube body, in order to dock with the central block and/or to couple the tool holder to the working spindle. The present invention allows a revolving tube magazine to be developed which can position, for the purposes of coupling and driving, a specifiable tool-carrying tool holder and/or a specified tool spatially in front of a working spindle, with repetitive accuracy and with a short tool changeover period. |
