Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for evaluating a performance of a curtain of light (310) operatively coupled to a door comprising at least one door panel. The method comprises: receiving a value representing signal strength of a signal received in a receiver (120B) from at least one transmitter (120A); determining (220) a performance value for the curtain of light from the received information; analyzing (230) the performance value by comparing it to at least one previously determined performance value; and generating (240) an indication signal in response to a detection that the determined performance deviates from the at least one previously determined performance value over a predetermined limit.
