The inside portion includes a hollow space (104) filled with a dielectric material. The frequency of the electromagnetic waves is 50-100 gigahertz (preferably 5-30 gigahertz). Independent claims are included for: (1) use of a plastic antenna for fill level measuring; and (2) a method for producing a plastic antenna.
