Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a saddle-type vehicle which can enhance the degree of freedom of the arrangement of a pillion step and reduce the size and weight of a guard body. A saddle-type vehicle (1) includes a vehicle body frame (2), a pillion step (29) supported by the vehicle body frame (2) and on which a foot of a passenger is to be placed, a passenger seat (17p) supported by the vehicle body frame and on which the passenger is to be seated, an exhaust pipe (55) configured to guide an exhaust gas discharged from an engine (E) to an outside, an exhaust pipe cover (56) covering the exhaust pipe (55) from a lateral outside thereof, and a guard body (13) extending laterally outward from the vehicle body frame (2), wherein the guard body (13) is disposed below the pillion step (29) and to protrude laterally from an opening part (56h) formed in the exhaust pipe cover (56).
