Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a device (10) for coating a flat substrate (12) with a polymer coating (14). Said device (10) comprises: an ink-jet printing head (16) with a plurality of nozzles (18) and a storage reservoir (20) connected to the nozzles (18), for receiving a polymerisable or cross-linkable coating fluid (11), the coating fluid (11) being degassed in the storage reservoir (20), particularly free or largely free of molecular oxygen; a hardening device (22) for hardening the coating fluid (11) applied to the substrate (12) by the ink-jet printing head (16); an advancement device (26) for transporting the substrate (12) in relation to the ink-jet printing head (16) and the hardening device (22) in such a way that a surface section of the substrate (12) moves along the ink-jet printing head (16) and then past the hardening device (22); a housing (28) in which the hardening device (22) and the ink-jet printing head (16) are arranged; and a device (30) for supplying an inert gas, which is connected to the housing (28) in order to flood the housing with inert gas such that the substrate (12) inserted into the housing (28) can be coated in the inert gas atmosphere by means of the ink-jet printing head (16), and the printed fluid coating can be hardened in the inert gas atmosphere by means of the hardening device (22) to form a solid polymer coating (14) by polymerisation or cross-linking. |
