Zusammenfassung:	An evaluation device (100) includes a projector (110) configured to project a pattern (101) having an edge component onto an object (145), an imaging device (150) configured to capture an image of the object (145), a reflective-property correction unit (168) configured to correct an amount of change in shape of a virtual image of the pattern (101) reflected in the object (145), using reflective-property data of a surface of the object (145), and an evaluation-value calculator (169) configured to evaluate image clarity of the surface of the object (145) based on the corrected amount of change. A carrier means carrying computer readable code for controlling a computer system to carry out a method. The method includes correcting an amount of change in shape of a virtual image of the pattern (101) reflected in the object (145) based on image data that is obtained by capturing an object (145) onto which a pattern (101) having an edge component is projected, using reflective-property data of a surface of the object (145), and evaluating image clarity of the surface of the object (145) based on the corrected amount of change.
