Zusammenfassung:A method for increasing transceiver loopback calibration accuracy is provided. The method includes receiving a radio frequency signal via a receive path of a transceiver from a transmit path of the transceiver which is coupled to the receive path via a loopback path. Further, the method includes calculating a propagation time of the radio frequency signal in the loopback path based on a first digital baseband signal on which the transmitted radio frequency signal is based, and a second digital baseband signal derived from the received radio frequency signal. The method additionally includes correlating, taking into account the propagation time, the first digital baseband signal and the second digital baseband signal for different time differences between the use of an oscillation signal by a first mixing circuit within the transmit path and the use of the oscillation signal by a second mixing circuit within the receive path. Also, the method includes delaying, using the time difference related to the best correlation result, the oscillation signal for the first mixing circuit or for the second mixing circuit. The method further includes performing a loopback calibration of the transceiver using the delayed oscillation signal.
