| Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a measuring device for determining the energy of technical variables and flows, particularly electrical energy, comprising measuring inlets to which the signals are applied, a front end comprising outlets, on which the signals are available as digital measuring values, firmware which accesses the digitalised measuring variables and calculates data derived therefrom, the derived data comprising energy data, and a display for displaying the energy data. The aim of the invention is to allow a firmware update without affecting the design approval of the measuring device. To this end, the firmware comprises updatable and non-updatable firmware, the non-updatable firmware operating independently from the updatable firmware and having at least access to the digital measuring values required for a billable determination of the energy data. |
