Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a device (1) for descaling a workpiece (W), preferably hot-rolling stock, comprising multiple nozzle assemblies (10), each of which has a nozzle head (11) with one or more nozzles and a nozzle rotor (13) connected to the nozzle head (11), and comprising one or more motors (30). Each nozzle head (11) is designed to spray fluid out of the nozzles onto the surface of the workpiece (W) and to be rotatable by the corresponding nozzle rotor (13). The invention is characterized in that the number of nozzle assemblies (10) is greater than the number of motors (30), and the plurality of nozzle rotors (13) is connected to the one or more motors (30) via a drive unit (20).
