Zusammenfassung:	A curing station (10) for curing the printing ink of a direct print on containers (2), having a conveying device (11) for conveying the containers (2) and having an irradiation device (12) for curing the printing ink, characterized in that the curing station (10) comprises a treatment chamber (13) with an oxygen-reduced atmosphere or under vacuum which is provided with double door systems (14a, 14b) for inserting and removing the containers (2) and in that the radiation outlet of the irradiation device (12) is situated in the treatment chamber (13) at least during curing.
