Zusammenfassung:	The invention is related to a method of repairing a sandwich component 1 having a core element 2 that is arranged between a first cover plate 1b and a second cover plate 1d, wherein a dowel sleeve 4 with a plurality of peripheral openings 4a is introduced through a repair opening 3a having an associated opening diameter 3g into a repair cavity 3 created in the core element 2, the dowel sleeve 4 having an outer diameter 41 that equals at least approximately the associated opening diameter 3d, such that an outer form-fit and/or press-fit connection is created between the dowel sleeve 4 and the first cover plate 1 b, and wherein a fluid adhesive 7 is introduced into the dowel sleeve 4 and via the plurality of peripheral openings 4a into the repair cavity 3.
