Zusammenfassung:	A method (100) of forming a resilient seal about a work piece (12) is presented. The method (100) includes the steps of providing (102) a work piece (12) defining a rib (14) circumferentially protruding from an outer surface (16) about a longitudinal axis of the work piece (12) and providing (104) a mold (20). The mold (20) defines a first cavity (22) configured to receive the work piece (12), a second cavity (24) circumferentially extending about the longitudinal axis of the work piece (12) and in communication with the first cavity (22), and a port (26) in communication with the second cavity (24). The method (100) further includes the steps of inserting (106) the work piece (12) within the first cavity (22) such the rib (14) is circumferentially in intimate contact with an inner surface (30) of the first cavity (22), introducing (108) a curable resilient material (32) into the port (26), thereby filling the second cavity (24) with the resilient material (32), curing (110) the resilient material (32), and then removing (112) the work piece (12) from the mold (20).
