Zusammenfassung: | A vehicle exterior mirror (1) comprising an integrated signal light unit (2), comprising a housing shell (7) made of thermoplastic material, wherein the housing shell (7) comprises a translucent window section (12) and comprises an interior for accommodating the signal light unit (2) in the region of the translucent window section (12), wherein the signal light unit (2) comprises a number of longitudinal light-guiding bodies and a number of associated light means for illuminating a coupling-in section of the associated lighting means, is to be configured such that the signal light unit can be produced inexpensively and is easy to install. This is achieved in that the signal light unit has a housing (11) made of thermoplastic material, which defines an interior for accommodating at least one plate (9) and the number of lighting means (8), wherein the housing (11) is in two parts and comprises two housing half-shells (11a, 11b) which are connected via a moulded-on hinge arrangement and configured for locking and opening via a clip connection, wherein the housing halves (11a, 11b) are provided with a seal (20) in the region of the joining edges facing each other and wherein the housing (11) further comprises a through-opening (22), and the light-guiding body (10) is detachably and sealingly held in the through-opening (22) by the first end region, which comprises the coupling-in section (18). |
