Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to novel derivatives, preferably prodrugs, of licofelone suitable as a medicament, preferably in the treatment and/or prevention of systemic diseases, autoimmune diseases or inflammatory diseases. Further, the invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the novel compounds. The compounds are of formula (I) where L is a linear organic residue comprising 2 to 30 carbon atoms, and R is -OH or -OOCR', wherein -OOCR' is a carboxylate group which is hydrolyzable during small intestinal transit.
