The hybrid motor further includes a rotor 204 disposed within the stator 202. The rotor 204 includes a plurality of rotor core segments 226 disposed along an axial direction and coupled to the motor shaft 206. The plurality of rotor core segments 226 includes a damping rotor core segment 226a and a synchronous rotor core segment 226b. The rotor 204 also includes a plurality of rotor bearings 228 for supporting the motor shaft 206 against plurality of rotor core segments 226. |
