The invention relates to a spindle drive (20) for an element to be driven, in particular a door leaf or window sash of a vehicle, having a driven spindle (22) with a longitudinal axis X-X which extends through a spindle nut (24). The spindle drive (20) has in particular the features that - the spindle nut (24) has, in order to drive the element to be driven, a driver (26) with a first contact surface (28) and a second contact surface (30) which are oriented along the longitudinal axis X-X of the spindle (22) in opposite directions to one another, - a first driving surface (32) and a second driving surface (34) are provided which are directed towards one another and are spaced apart from one another along the longitudinal axis X-X of the spindle, - a spacing A between the two driving surfaces (32, 34) exceeds a spacing B between the contact surfaces (28, 30), - an actuator (40) is provided which is connected to the spindle nut (24) and serves to actuate a further device if the driver (26) is moved between the driving surfaces (32, 34).
