METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LAYER COMPOSITE

The present invention relates to a method for producing a layer composite (1) comprising an embedded functional structure (8). The layer composite (1) is produced from multiple layers which are arranged on top of each other in the vertical direction. The production of the layer structure comprises the following steps: providing a metal substrate (3); optionally at least in some sections, arranging an intermediate layer (4) in the vertical direction on the metal substrate (3); arranging an embedding layer (5), wherein the embedding layer (5) provides a recess (6) in the vertical direction, wherein the recess (6) extends along an embedding section (7) of a metal substrate transverse extension; arranging a respective functional structure (8) or multiple functional structures (8) in a region enclosed by the recess (6). The embedding layer (5) is applied by means of an application device (9), which applies the embedding layer (5) along at least one coating section (10a, 10b) of the metal substrate transverse extension, as a result of which at least one edge (11a, 11b) of the coating section (10a, 10b) borders the recess (6). The invention further relates to a layer composite.
