Zusammenfassung:	TIG welding can be applied, and short circuit of stator winding due to a jointing material of coil conductors is prevented. A rotating electric machine includes: a rotor; and a stator having a stator core and a stator winding, wherein the stator winding has a plurality of coil conductors, and joint parts connecting ends of the coil conductors protruding from an end face of the stator core, and the ends of the coil conductors have weir portions formed for blocking flow of metal of the joint parts.
