Zusammenfassung:	A blow molding machine assembly (10, 510) configured to be mounted to a blow molding machine to move a mold base (60) configured to form a container base. The blow molding machine assembly (10, 510) includes an over-stroke cylinder (50) and a counter-stretch rod (1020, 74). The over-stroke cylinder (50) is configured to move the mold base (60) between an extended base position and a retracted base position. The counter-stretch rod (1020, 74) is movable between a retracted rod (1020, 74) position in which the counter-stretch rod (1020, 74) does not extend out from within the mold base (60), and an extended rod (1020, 74) position in which the counter-stretch rod (1020, 74) extends out from within the mold base (60).
