Zusammenfassung: | The present invention provides a sensor for detecting or quantifying a target substance contained in a liquid sample. The sensor comprises a quinone compound that accepts electrons released as a result of dehydrogenation or oxidization of the target substance by the enzyme; and at least a pair of electrodes, wherein the quinone compound contains a quinone and a substituent, wherein the substituent is hydrophilic. The quinone compound has a lower redox potential than conventional substances, so interfering substances have less effect on detection results with this sensor, particularly the redox potential of the quinone compound measured using a silver/silver chloride (saturated potassium chloride) electrode as a reference electrode is more negative than the oxidization potential of ascorbic acid. |
