Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a tailgate (1) for a vehicle (20) with a handle (10) having a handle portion (10.1) for a user (30) and a connection portion (10.3) connected to an inside surface (1.3) of the tailgate (1). In order to provide a tailgate that allows for an ergonomic operation by users having different body heights, the invention provides that the connection portion (10.3) is movable along the inside surface (1.3) between a first (P1) and a second (P2) position, the second position (P2) being lower than the first position (P1) in an open position of the tailgate (1).
