Zusammenfassung: | A driver of a leaning vehicle is actively assisted in conformity with the driver's feeling. An oblique inter-vehicle distance detection unit (21) of a leaning vehicle (1) is configured to detect the oblique inter-vehicle distance (D0) which is the distance between the leaning vehicle (1) and an obliquely-neighboring vehicle (102). An active driving assist control unit (60) of the leaning vehicle (1) is configured to actively assist the driver by controlling an acceleration controller (22) in accordance with the oblique inter-vehicle distance (D0) while keeping the jerk in the traveling direction is smaller than the maximum value of the jerk generatable by the acceleration controller and larger than the minimum value of the jerk generatable by the acceleration controller.
