Zusammenfassung:An object status tracking system (10) is disclosed. The system (10) comprises an appliance (14) comprising at least one operating volume (20) and an access region (12) through which the operating volume (20) is accessed. The system (10) further comprises at least one imager (22) and a controller (72). The controller (72) is operable to detect at least one part of a person's body (26) in the access region (12) based on the image data and identify the object (16) in connection with the part of the person's body (26). Based on the detection of the object (16) in connection with the person's body (26), the controller (72) is configured to identify a status of the object (16). The status of the object (16) is determined based on a process occurring in the operating volume (20) of the appliance (14).
