Zusammenfassung:	A seal is formed by a plurality of seal segments (10). Each seal segment comprises a flapper seal (20), a wire mesh (22) acting as a hinge for the flapper seal (20), a backing sheet (24) connected to the wire mesh (22), a spring (28) and a bracket (30). A first fastener (26) connects the wire mesh (22) and the backing sheet (24) to the flapper seal (20). A first end (28a) of the spring (28) is in contact with the backing sheet (24) to apply pressure to the flapper seal (20). A second fastener (32) connects the wire mesh (22) and the bracket (30). A third fastener (34) connects the second end (28b) of the spring (28) to the bracket (30).
