STORAGE BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Provided is a stable storage battery management system which manages storage battery systems employing the same structure, re-calculates a rating of the storage battery management system when detecting a status change in storage battery system that affects the rating of the storage battery management system, and notifies a higher rank system of the re-calculation result. A storage battery management system 10 includes a plurality of storage battery systems 20 employing the same structure. The storage battery management system 10 controls charging and discharging of the storage battery system 20 in accordance with a charging and discharging command value from a higher rank system S01. A rating holding unit 112 of the storage battery management system 10 holds the chargeable and dischargeable amounts and the storage battery status of the storage battery system 20 beforehand. A storage battery status determining unit 113 compares the storage battery status held in the rating holding unit 112 with a newly received storage battery status. A rating calculating unit 114 re-calculates the chargeable and dischargeable amounts of the storage battery system 20 when the storage battery status determining unit 113 detects a new change in the storage battery status, and calculates the chargeable and dischargeable amounts of the entire storage battery management system based on the re-calculated chargeable and dischargeable amounts.
