Zusammenfassung:	A coupon (202, 222) for repairing a part (210) is disclosed. The coupon (202, 222) includes an outwardly threaded body (204) configured to mate with an inwardly threaded opening (206) in a damaged area (200) of the part (210). The part (210) and/or coupon (202, 222) may include a superalloy. The threaded arrangement converts tensile stresses into shear stresses that allow the repair to exhibit material characteristics as good as or better than the superalloy. A method of using the coupon (202, 222) to repair a part (210) using brazing, and a turbomachine (100) part (210) using the coupon (202, 222), are also disclosed.
