The container body (10) is produced from a foil material, in particular a laminate, has a substantially cylindrical cross-section and has, in both its lower end (40) and its upper end (50), a ring (60u, 60o) with an angled and/or arc-shaped cross-section and a longitudinal extension. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said container.
