ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING LOOP ANTENNA

An electronic device includes a housing including a first surface facing in a first direction, a second surface facing in a second direction, and a side member; a first metal plate positioned between the first surface and the second surface; a conductive coil winds around the first metal plate; a first communication circuit electrically connected to the conductive coil; a second communication circuit electrically connected to the first metal plate; a display; and a processor. The second surface may include a first portion including a first opening and a second portion filling the first opening. The conductive coil may be positioned under the first portion. A portion of the first metal plate may be wound with the conductive coil, and another portion of the first metal plate may be electrically connected to the second communication circuit. The another portion may extend to the first opening, a first magnetic flux may be generated in the conductive coil by the first communication circuit, and a second magnetic flux may be generated by the second communication circuit in the another portion of the first metal plate.
