The user terminal device includes: a display device; a first sensor configured to be installed in front of the user terminal device and to sense irradiated light; a second sensor configured to be installed in rear of the user terminal device and to sense the irradiated light; and a controller configured to control the brightness of the display device based on front luminance sensed through the first sensor and rear luminance sensed through the second sensor.
