The invention relates to a non-woven funnel for compressing a fiber non-woven, in particular on a draw frame, carding machine, or combining machine, comprising an inlet side (2), which is elongate in the x direction and at which the spread fiber non-woven formed of individual fibers enters the non-woven funnel (1), an outlet side (3), which is spaced apart from the inlet side (2) in the z direction and at which the fiber non-woven exits the non-woven funnel (1) as a sliver, an outlet opening (4), which is arranged on the outlet side (3), and at least one guiding surface (5a, 5b) for the fiber non-woven arranged between the inlet side (2) and the outlet side (3), in order to guide the fiber non-woven flowing into the non-woven funnel (1) toward the outlet opening (4). According to the invention, at least one guiding element (6, 12) is arranged in a region between the inlet side (2) and the outlet opening (4), which at least one guiding element limits a motion component of the fiber non-woven in the x direction and/or a motion component of the fiber non-woven in the y direction, wherein the guiding element (6, 12) is arranged in such a way that the guiding element prevents the collision of the fibers against each other at least in the x direction after the fiber non-woven has been redirected toward the outlet opening (4) by means of the guiding surfaces (5a, 5b).
