The protective casing assembly (1) comprises a cover (8) for at least partly enclosing the display unit (2) and an attachment means for attaching the protective casing (8) to the display unit (2). The cover (8) comprises a throughlet (9) for the insertion of the connector (6) with its cables (7) into the cover (8).
