Zusammenfassung: | An object of the invention is to reduce a harmonic loss generated when an alternative current (AC) motor is overmodulation-driven using asynchronous PWM control without increasing the number of times of switching. A motor control device includes a signal wave generator that generates a signal wave based on a frequency command and a voltage command, a carrier wave generator that generates a carrier wave based on a carrier frequency, a PWM generator that compares the signal wave and the carrier wave to output a gate signal, an inverter that controls a switching element based on the gate signal, and an offset quantity calculation unit that adds an offset quantity to the signal wave, in which the inverter outputs a pulse voltage, the carrier frequency is fixed, and the offset calculation unit fixes an effective value of a fundamental wave of the pulse voltage, reduces an effective value of a harmonic whose degree is higher than a degree of the fundamental wave, and adds the offset quantity to the signal wave in one carrier period including voltage phases 0, 90, 180, and 270 deg to increase an effective value of a harmonic whose degree is lower than the degree of the fundamental wave. |
