Zusammenfassung:	A sealed refrigerant compressor comprises an electric component and a compression component accommodated in a sealed container, and the compression component includes a cylinder and a piston which is reciprocatable inside the cylinder. The electric component includes a stator, and a rotor having a lower surface facing an oil surface of lubricating oil. The rotor has a shape in which its diameter is larger than its length in a rotational axis direction thereof. A core of the rotor is provided with at least one balance hole for adjusting a load balance during rotation of the rotor, for example, at least one balance through-hole.
