Zusammenfassung:	A method for structurally reinforcing a vehicle body stamping comprising the steps of forming an expandable material (12) and a mesh (14) located in direct planar contact with the material and along the entirety of the material, where the material is tacky prior to expansion for adhering to the fiberglass mesh and to a surface for reinforcing the surface, wherein the expandable material is adapted to expand upon exposure to a predetermined temperature to expand in an amount that is from 100% of its original volume to 300% of its original volume; wherein the step of locating the mesh (14) onto the expanded material (12) is free of the use of any fasteners or fastening step.
