POWER GENERATION APPARATUS

Provided is a power generation apparatus for small-scale power equipment that utilizes waste heat, the power generation apparatus configured to directly introduce water to a condensation tank without providing a condenser, which configuration contributes to simplification of the apparatus, and also configured such that the amount of the water introduced at this time is managed and controlled to enable efficient supply of electricity or condensed water having a predetermined temperature in accordance with demands. A power generation apparatus 1 is configured such that water vapor generated in a steam generator 2 is supplied to a scroll expander 3 to drive the scroll expander 3, wherein: a condensation device 5 is arranged in a discharge path 12 downstream of the scroll expander 3, the condensation device configured to mix water vapor having passed through the scroll expander 3 directly with cooling water to condense the water vapor; and the condensation device 5 includes a control unit 10 that performs a control of adjusting the amount of cooling water supply so as to obtain condensed water having a predetermined temperature.
