Zusammenfassung:There is provided a steering control device that allows execution of assist control even when a systematic error has occurred in a controller that manipulates a control angle to be input to a current feedback controller in order to control a detected value of steering torque to target torque through feedback control. An update amount calculation processing circuit (M54) manipulates a control angle (¸c) in accordance with an update amount (”¸c2) in order to control steering torque (Trqsl), which is obtained by subjecting the magnitude of steering torque (Trqs) to a decrease correction by a threshold (TrqL), to target torque (Trqs*) through feedback control. The control angle (¸c) is used to convert a current command value (i³*) to a value in a fixed coordinate system or the like. The update amount (”¸c2) is subjected to a guarding process in accordance with the steering torque (Trqs) by a torque-based guarding processing circuit (M60), and determined as a final update amount (”¸c) for the control angle (¸c). The torque-based guarding processing circuit (M60) performs the guarding process on the update amount (”¸c2) such that the update amount (”¸c2) is in an allowable range that matches the steering torque (Trqs).
