Zusammenfassung:	According to one embodiment, the application relates to a control system (100) for controlling the feed of a solid fuel in a combustion process. The system comprises a control unit (120) which is adapted to communicate by way of a communications link in the system, to receive from online measuring instruments (130a, 130b, 130c, 130d) online measurement data regarding a fuel coming from a fuel reception unit (106a, 106b, 106c), and to control feeding means (110a, 110b, 110c) for delivering the measured fuel into a fuel silo (104, 108a, 108b) on the basis of its content model and measurement data.
