Zusammenfassung:	An electronic brake system for a braking system of a utility vehicle having a brake encoder with at least one sensor for detecting positions of a brake pedal that is actuated by the driver of the utility vehicle and at least one valve that is mechanically actuated via the brake pedal, and which, as a result of the mechanical actuation, is moved from a pressure reduction position into at least one pressure-maintaining or pressure increase position, in which the valve admits at least one fluid flow for the actuation of at least one operating brake of the braking system, wherein the valve is assigned at least one control element that is different from the brake pedal, by which the valve is moved.
