Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a device for freshening air by atomization (1) for a motor vehicle (V). The invention is characterised in that the air freshening device (1) comprises: an atomization unit (10) suitable for receiving an atomization liquid (L); an atomizer (20) coupled to said atomization unit (10); a conductivity cell (30) which comprises two electrodes (E1, E2) arranged in said atomization unit (10) and enables an impedance (R1) to be measured; an H-shaped double half bridge (40) consisting of a plurality of transistors (S1, S2, S3, S4) and connected to said conductivity cell (20), said H-shaped double half bridge (40) being suitable for supplying said conductivity cell (30) with an alternating power supply current (i); and an operational amplifier (50) connected to said H-shaped double half bridge (40) and comprising an input voltage (Vref), said operational amplifier (50) being suitable for providing an output voltage (Vout) depending on said input voltage (Vref) and said impedance (R1).
