[Problem] To provide a gas displacing apparatus capable of securely discharging gas. [Means for solving the problem] Provided is a gas displacing apparatus 1 comprising a container main body 2, a pipe 3 for supplying a displacing gas, a gas discharging pipe 4, a liquid supplying pipe 5 and a liquid discharging pipe 6, wherein ring-shaped baffle plates 11 to 13 are attached to the inner wall of the container main body, and wherein the gas discharging pipe 4 is introduced horizontally into the container main body by penetrating through the side wall, so that the pipe may expose its suction port 4a to just below the rear surface of the uppermost baffle plate 11, and wherein an ejection port protector 7 made of a curved plate whose curved surface is convex upward is disposed above the liquid supplying pipe 5, whereas a pipe 3 for supplying a displacing gas is inserted from the center of the ceiling portion and installed so that the pipe 3 may expose its ejection port 3a to the center of the upper surface of the ejection port protector 7.
